When Auxilium saw what Transit Creative could do with pharma, they asked for a consultation right away.
Transit was charged with re-branding and developing a national pharmaceutical campaign for Testim, a gel-based testosterone supplement for men. Rather than prescribing the burdensome pharma-formula, illustrating before and after or some vague lifestyle concept, like so many others, we decided to take a more positive and impactful approach. To really get through to a demographic consisting primarily of middle-aged men, the message had to be clear, tactful, and above all, inspiring.
The concept came quickly: Restore, Revitalize, Relief.
Although quite a feat for an agency of any size, Transit, a boutique agency, took to the task with fervor. Over the course of three months, we developed nearly two-dozen targeted marketing pieces. The campaign consisted of an exciting but super-simplified visual approach, to quickly communicate a positive message about what the product does, how it can help and a call to action.
The result: Testim prescriptions grew by 26.5%, revenues shot up to 31%, and Testim’s market-share of the gel segment reached a record 22.3%. And one more brand earns a clean bill of health.
